Cotinus coggygria Purpurea 2,5–3 m

The purple smoke bush is a deciduous shrub or small tree that grows to a height of about 3-5 m. The long-stalked leaves are burgundy. Its tiny yellowish flowers bloom in June, and the flower buds are adorned with feathery, hairy, purple-pink flower stalks. It loves sun and warmth. It grows well in well-structured soil. Water needs are moderate. It can be planted as a specimen, but it is also a spectacular element of any garden in other plant combinations.
